Guy Carpenter hires Franck Pinette
Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC has announced the appointment of Franck Pinette to the post of chief executive officer of European Life Reinsurance operations.
Pinette, whose appointment is effective from 1 December, will be based in Paris and report directly to Nick Frankland, chief executive officer of European Operations.
He was formerly managing director of the Worldwide Life Reinsurance unit at PartnerRe, a post he had held for more than a decade.
Pinette was recently replaced by Dean Graham, who had previously worked as deputy head of Life at PartnerRe.
Earlier in his career, he held a range of senior positions with Mutuelles du Mans Reassurance.
Frankland has expressed his delight at Pinette’s appointment, and praised his extensive experience, stretching for more than two decades, in the sector.
